Refund &Cancellation Policy

Velmora Holidays

At Velmora Holidays, we strive to provide transparent and fair policies regarding cancellations and refunds. Please read this policy carefully before confirming your booking.

1. Booking & Advance Payment

  • All tour bookings require an advance payment to confirm services.

  • The remaining balance must be paid as per the agreed timeline before the tour starts.

  • Booking confirmation is subject to receipt of payment and availability of services.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellation charges depend on the type of package, time of cancellation, and services booked.

🟢 For Basic Tour Packages

  • More than 15 days before travel:
    Partial refund after deducting service charges

  • 7–14 days before travel:
    50% cancellation charges

  • Less than 7 days before travel:
    No refund

🔵 For Premium / Luxury Tour Packages

(Premium hotels, luxury houseboats, private vehicles)

  • More than 21 days before travel:
    Partial refund after deducting hotel and service charges

  • 10–20 days before travel:
    50–75% cancellation charges (as per hotel policy)

  • Less than 10 days before travel:
    No refund

⚠️ Luxury bookings involve advance commitments to hotels and service providers, therefore stricter cancellation terms apply.

3. No-Show & Early Departure

  • No refunds will be provided for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.

  • Unused services (meals, sightseeing, hotel nights, transport) are non-refundable.

4. Refund Processing

  • Refunds, if applicable, will be processed after deducting:

    • Hotel cancellation charges

    • Transport charges

    • Service & administrative fees

  • Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 working days, depending on banks and payment providers.

  • Refunds will be made using the same payment method used for booking.

5. Force Majeure (Uncontrollable Events)

Velmora Holidays shall not be held responsible for cancellations or changes caused by:

  • Weather conditions (snowfall, landslides)

  • Road closures

  • Government or security restrictions

  • Natural disasters

  • Political situations or strikes

In such cases:

  • Refunds depend entirely on hotel and supplier policies

  • Additional costs, if any, shall be borne by the guest.

6. Amendments & Changes

  • Any changes requested after booking confirmation are subject to availability.

  • Price differences due to changes or upgrades must be paid by the guest.

  • Changes during peak season may not be possible.

7. Non-Refundable Services

The following are strictly non-refundable:

  • Permit fees

  • Gondola tickets

  • Adventure activities

  • Entry tickets

  • Peak-season hotel bookings marked as non-refundable

8. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes regarding refunds or cancellations shall be resolved amicably.
If unresolved, disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of Srinagar, Jammu & Kashmir, India.
